Hi guys I have some PBL and CBS in a tank together how will it affect my breeding project? My CBS tank sprung a leak so I have to house them together temporarily.

If male PRL and female CBS bred, then the offspring will improve in colouring.

But if male CBS bred with female PRL, then the offspring will be poorer colouring.

In either case, the offspring can never be called PRL again.

If you mixed them into the same tank, good luck trying to find the PRL again, and you can never be certain if the PRLs are really PRL.

A breeder tank would have been a better Idea. I always keep a breeder tank, to separate shrimps for emergencies like this.

Thank you for your help! I going to take my CBS out for now and put them in a breeder box, my PBL have v lines so they’re easy to distinguish from my CBS
