Fresh water of sorts

I have decided to try my hand at hatching and raising some nerite snail eggs. I have set up a small tank with brackish water (the only thing missing for now is crushed coral substrate hope to get some later today), no filter and a light to be left on 24/7 to promote algae growth.

Now my questions are and I hope somebody knows the answers

How long does it take for the dormant eggs to hatch once placed into brackish water?

How big are the newly hatched larva? Seeable with the naked eye or will a microscope or magnifiying glass be needed?

Do they have to be moved into full marine salt or will they develop in the brackish tank?

Does anyone know if each nerite snail egg has only one potential offspring in it or multiple offspring? Because I put probably 20 or so eggs in the brackish tank and am now seeing lots of tiny white dots on the glass but they are beyond my capabilities of getting clear photos of.

Actually there is on very close inspection 3 unknown and all small critters getting about in the tank. 1 type floats about and I have only seen a couple but the look like little yellow orbs.

1 of the other types swims about occasionally and I suspect is a daphnia the other type is again miniscule and moves differently to the suspected daphnia and I am wondering if it could be brine shrimp.

If I move the light on the tank some of the critters will move but not always towards the light, the others seem to stay put on the glass but do move slowly.

No idea @Baccus.

You are breaking new ground here breeding nerites.

However, logic would be to assume one offspring per egg.

I read this https://primcousa.com/nerite-snail-eggs/ which has a good description of the whole process, but no mention of whether one egg has multiple larvae.

Not sure what the other critters could be. Someone with a Marine tank might be able to help.

I finally managed to get a clearish  photo of one of the orangish swimming blobs, to the naked eye they honestly just look like maybe pollen grains floating about but in this zoomed in picture you can see little legs. I still haven't determined what the even smaller white things are that mostly sit on the glass but will skitter along the glass if disturbed and sometimes swim freely in the water but I am leaning towards some sort of daphnia.

I have also been keeping an eye on one of the nerite egg cases and to me it looks like one has opened/ hatched? and there are tiny little blobs on the zip tie near the opened case which I am hoping may actually be baby nerites.

Either the rules or ability to post pictures has changed or I am having a complete brain fart. The only pictures I seem to be able to access are pictures I have previously posted.

Copepods and seed shrimp are pretty common within planted tanks, especially ones without much in the way of fish.

Can you drag the image you want to share into the message box to see if it'll upload that way?
