Is this a parasite?

This RCS has white dots on either side of his head I Think I have read before that it is a parasite, I would like somebody’s outside opinion.

It's on both sides of the shrimp's head?

Looks more like a discolouration.

The shrimp looks healthy otherwise.

I can't tell in the images - is the white spot pitted/sunk in? It almost looks like a hole in the shell, but the symmetry of it seems a bit odd for that. Otherwise it does just look like coloration.
