Help please Oxydator new tank set up

Hi I've just set my tank up to start its cycle, I've added a large oxydator D, just for the extra oxygen help the bacteria to grow, and to stay for the shrimp after, when i added it it started to one large bubble every 2 seconds, it's slowing down a lot one large bubble at a time every now and then, I thought it was ment to give off loads of tiny tint bubbles, please advise on this as I'm unshor if this is ok

Hi @Tricky,yes the sotching oxydator should be giving off fine bubbles not large ones.

Are you sure you pushed the glass jar tightly into the base? make sure it's push in properly.

Thanks for that, yes I pushed it down again re set it, it working now ish only fine bubbles on one side of it, must be ok the peroxide level is going down
