Which probiotics to use ?

Hi guys, i have been searching for a while for some probiotics additives and bacteria supplements to use in my tanks which wont break the bank.

I came across the Azoo Probiotics and the Biozym multi-nitrification probiotics for shrimps. 

The dosage is a bit confusing when it comes to routine maintenace for both products, i cant figure out if the dosage of the product is for the volume of water in the tank or for the new water added during the water changes.

Would anyone have any idea how these types of products work ?

I usually go for the this ^^ when I add probiotics to my tank - new or maintenance.

 

But if your tank is healthy, half dose for maintenance is more than enough.

I just ordered 2 bottles of the Azoo probiotics, at the stated dosage it should last me 4 months.

Coincidence or not, within 5 days of using this product, breeding started again in the tanks where the shrimps took a breeding winter break ??
