Hey guys.

One article I think could benefit a lot of people that like their planted shrimp tanks is planted aquarium fertilizers.
What's safe, what's not, how it affects water parameters, what's not recommended i.e. High levels or cleated iron, (FE), iron sands, premixed liquid ferts compared to dry ferts etc.
what shrimp are perfect for planted tanks and which are more sensitive to chemical fertilizers.

Just a thought as I keep planted tanks as well as shrimp tanks and been combining the two with little successes and a few fails.
Everything till now has been trial and error and if I could share some of my experiences with someone so they don't have to go through what I did.
I'm not great at writing out detailed information but happy to help someone write it.
I have years of experience in fully planted hi-tec aquariums and semi knowledgeable on liquid and dry fertilizers but still a newby with shrimps.

Great idea. If you want to draft something, I can get people to work on it and articulate for an article. Otherwise, I'll add to the list but there are a ton of people more experienced in this space than myself.

Yeah that would be awesome, just pick a topic in this thread we haven't covered yet, do some research and type it up in a new topic. • Common Moss in shrimp tanks (fissiden, christmas, subwassertang etc..)
• fish profiles - take your pick  
  • Various tetras
  • SAE
  • Ottos
  • Betta
  • Guppies
  • Endlers
  • or Guppies vs Endlers
  • Clown loach
  • Khuli loach
  • etc...

Can't think of any other topics but that's probably a good list to start from
