Some of you may remember the pics of my Caridina sp. 'indistincta' Type C from the Australian Shrimp Championship 2016.

 

Here is how they look when they are really settled in.

Nice looking shrimp mate.

Just something off topic here. What are those tiny white bugs that you see flipping around in the tank. About the size of the white dot on that shrimps antenna. I have the same thing and was just wondering what they are?

Great colour variation and I love the contrast in the "skunk stripes".

Thanks mate.

I believe they are seed shrimp or ostracods. Quite common occurrence in shrimp tanks.

Thanks mate. They can sometimes have the 'tiger' stripes across the back (rather than down the back) similar to the pattern that ninjas and typus can often get. That's one of my favourite patterns. I think there is one shrimp that has this pattern in the video although it's very faint.
