Back to the main creek

Large hole where I got in to swim with the fishes. Bob didn't, it was apparently too cold (20*C water temp on a hot 35*C day).

I was took a Vid of two males fighting in Hervey ck , dam spectacular but I can not use it as its going OS for a Doco.

I think I have missed my opportunity to get another, when the new Vid camera get here I will try and post it here. I will have to try and master under water stills.

In may 2015, Bob and I walked further upstream than in the previous trip, indeed further than Bob has ever been. We walked probably five km's up river and the amount of water flowing down didn't seem to lessen. We also climbed into some of the side creeks to check for new types of shrimp. We actually found some shrimp in the main creek (probably indistincta), but didn't really get high enough into the hills. Next time ...

The photos are sort of in order as we walked up and back down the creek. Enjoy.

After walking all that way, and climbing into a side creek with a near vertical water fall of at least 5 metres, I was hoping to find some shrimp. No such luck, and here is probably the reason why.

Looking Good Ben, I will have to add the log shots or should I say the big log bridge shots

Its low water so I might head up for a look, but I think its gong to be a overnighter
