Shrimp, It's a numbers game.

Hi guys. I hope this doesn't sound too noobish, but.... We all know that essentially the more shrimp you have in a tank the more active they are, more likely to breed etc.

Now I've recently acquired a few nice shrimp SSS and SS that share my tank with some nice A's and B's. Given that they're happier in a larger group am I better off leaving my High Grades with the lower grades, letting them breed and picking out the plum shrimp, or setting up another tank/ floating basket for the high grades?

There's around 35 shrimp in this tank atm including maybe 5 or 6 high grades?

Thoughts, discuss?

my suggestion would also be to open a new tank for high grades and throw every low grade female in with the high grades.
