nooby restriction error

Im restricted if i attempt to do:

Forum => All About Shrimp

But i can do:

Forum => All About Shrimp => Shrimp Equipment/Accessories

It shows up on my new forum post and can click straight through.

yes the forum access is limited to new members until they get a few posts up. the more you post the more of the forum you can access and becomes visible.

its just part of the screening process to keep out the riff raff :)

I understand that part just when i had limited access i couldnt access the "all about shrimp" sub-group but i could just just straight into the "Shrimp Equipment/Accessories" subforum without any restrictions.

Hi Robert, Welcome to SKF!

The open vs. restricted areas are made regardless of sub-groups to parents. We think areas such as Equipment and Accessories should be openly accessible. There's about 10 sub-areas in All About Shrimp ;)
