Im guessing you have this to stop some kind of spam/DDOS?

i think if you can make it so all people that donate can get the timer removed, ive personally maybe spelt something wrong and had to search again, and forced to wait, very annoying

Yeah it's to stop DDOS type attacks. I'll look at what we can do for subscription members

OK, wait times between searches are now this:

• Diamond Members - 2 secs
• Platinum & Premium Members - 5 secs
• Members & New Members - 10 secs
• Guests - 15 secs

may i ask why its still waiting time for people that have donated? its not like they will DDOS, most DDOS is on new accounts who havent paid?

It's not just about DDOS, search puts load on the servers and until I can afford to beef up the servers again I need to have some controls in place. An email I got not more than a few minutes ago to illustrate my point:

It seems one of your servers is consuming a lot of resources.

System Load: 100%

Ram Usage: 60%

If I left it unrestricted you would start to see site outages. 2 - 5 seconds goes a long way to help ease the load. But don't worry, later this year I'll look at upgrading the hardware again.
