I think I would remove the rock in the front of the tank on the right hand side.

Looks good, my only comment would be that the substrate is probably too big/heavy for the shrimp to turn.

Thanks for the feedback. The removal was on my list :) I will move the rock from front RH side to LH side to replace that big rock ( it's too big for this tank ).

In the background I have rotala, bacopa, echinodorus they need to grow to have that cover, but I'm patient :)). I will also add Ludwigia arcuata in the background, hope that's enough.

:( you are not the first one to tell me that. I figured it out too late when I started planting that the gravel is to big. Are there any solutions for this ? do you think I should change the gravel. That will mean I need to start over with the layout, water ...

Just leave it, as long as you have other play/eating areas you should be ok. You could always get one of those suction cup pots or glass jar from Aquakitz with smaller substrate in it.

I'll have to think about it. It's not only the shrimps that I worry about it's also the plants, very hard to plant/replant/propagate.

Yep the glass jar would help also but like I said it's not only about the shrimps.

My mistake, lesson learned :).

BTW, I have the exact same substrate in my 15L with endlers and a few of my old choc cherry culls that survived the choc cherry tank shutdown. They are all males so can't say if they would breed but they are living happily enough.
