    AquaLighter aPUMP

       (0 reviews)

    Description

aPUMP is an aquarium air pump for aquariums from 10 up to 100 liters volume and is designed to supply aquarium water with oxygen, the most essential and vital element.

I set out to find a quiet air pump due to having all my tanks in my bedroom - you can imagine how annoying it was hearing a noisy air pump when you're trying to sleep!

I decided to give the aPUMP a go considering the claim of 'most silent pump in the world'.

What did I like about of it?

    • It's silent - I actually couldn't hear it unless I had my ear really close to it
    • It's tiny! - Slightly bigger than a 50 cent coin
    • Has a suction cup
    • Comes with some tubing and an air stone

If you're looking for a quality air pump, that's close to silent, don't go past the aPUMP ?

Old post but i would like to add, i recently purchased one off Jamie to try. Didnt think it had enough power to run a biospon, but put it to the test and it works a treat! The sound was very quiet and is running on a 40cm high tank. connected the sponge filter and aPump at night, the next morning i see all the particles attached around the sponge... means its doing its job!

I will do an update again soon to see if its quiet long term also.

Thanks@inkevnito that's handy to know! May I ask what size tank are you using it in?

    Hi @revolutionhope, It is 60x30x40cm, about a standard 2ft. :)
Today is the 6th day its been installed and still quiet when sitting infront of the tank having a beer ;)
Put your ear right up to it and you'll notice the humming is a  bit more distinct compared to day 1.
The only sound you can really hear are the bubbles though. :D
